About Itzhak Beery

Itzhak Beery, a leading shamanic teacher, healer, speaker and community activist, is the author of the wonderfully readable books The Gift of Shamanism, Shamanic Transformations and Shamanic Healing. Itzhak teaches at top spiritual centers around the world, leads his own retreats and workshops both in person and online, and is a sought-after speaker at conferences and gatherings. He is the publisher of shamanportal.org, founder of The Andes Summit and co-founder of NY Shamanic Circle. By studying and living with the shamans he writes about, and traveling and learning from native healers in jungles and mountains around the world, Itzhak has gone through his own apprenticeship and become a shaman in his own right. He was initiated into the Circle of 24 Yachaks by his Quechua teacher in Ecuador and by Brazilian Kanamari Pajè. He is also a recipient of the Ambassador for Peace award.

Itzhak shares the belief that each of us came into this life to experience and heal a unique, pre-birth soul-selected life purpose.
