Peter Burns is a palmist, astrologer, lecturer, writer and teacher and the author of "The Palmistry Textbook." He began his studies of chirology (hand analysis) with Andrew Verity in 1981 and started practicing in 1986. Once he moved to Western Australia, he ran a palmistry stall at the Fremantle Markets, where he did about 30 consultations a week for seven years.

Peter began formal astrology studies in the late 1980s and received his astrology diploma in 1997 from the Federation of Australian Astrologers (FAA) and was the national editor of its quarterly journal for 16 years. He is dedicated to introducing the benefits of using hand analysis to the astrological community to assist astrologers in finding enabling insights for their clients.
