About Carley Mattimore

Carley Mattimore is an astrologer, a licensed professional counselor with more 30 years’ experience as a psychotherapist, a Healing Touch practitioner and Shamanic Reiki master and co-author of Sacred Messengers of Shamanic Africa. Along with her husband, John Malan, she founded the Aahara Spiritual Community of Venus Rising. As an ordained shamanic minister and master breathwork facilitator, Carley leads psychospiritual workshops and retreats, including transformational tours to Africa. Recently she and John developed the Shamanic Warriorship Path Program, a series of four workshops designed to support a new paradigm of warrior energy for our world.

Carley graduated from the White Lion Leadership Academy & Practitioner Training. She had an awakening experience in 2012 that connected her with the shamanic wisdom of Africa and has traveled to South Africa many times as well as to Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Egypt in Africa as well as to Tonga, Peru and China. Her passion and purpose is to live life to the fullest in service to others who are on their transformational journeys of self-discovery.
